*Required Coursework

Please note that the Idaho License requires a 60 semester credit hours (for quarterly programs-90 credit hours) Masters Degree with 6 credits of psychodiagnostics. Many MFT programs are 54 credit hours and have only 3 credit hours of assessment and diagnostic coursework. If your program does not meet the Idaho Law requirements you will need to get the further coursework from an approved program.

***CEU's

In the state of Idaho, 20 CEUs are required each year with 3 units of law and ethics.  The CEUs gained must be from the time of renewal (your birthday) until the next.  
Home Study and On-line Education. A maximum of ten (10) contact hours may be counted through self-study during each reporting period. In order for a home study or on-line course to qualify for contact hours, the course must be provided by a Board-approved continuing education provider or a course pre-approved by the Board. Ethics contact hours cannot be earned through self-study or on-line education

**Supervision in Idaho
